Architecture Tomorrow is a curated exhibition of future projects that will take place in the Architectural Pavillion, Stand B10, at Olympia London, 15-17 October 2014.

Over 400 entries have been whittled down, resulting in a gallery of projects that represent the future of British architecture.

PKS project Belsize Garages, London, NW3 has been selected under the Housing category.

This scheme involves the demolition of 15 existing dilapidated garages and the construction of a contemporary part three-part four storey building, comprising of 7 luxury residential units. Also included is a new basement level for provision of parking, associated access and landscaping.

The site lies between two townscapes, commercial centre of Belsize Village to the west and the residential nature of Belsize Lane to the east. The development is conceived as a bridge between the two distinct conditions.

The building components are expressed individually but together, form a complete balanced composition with common crisp detailing.
