A private home development for a modest 2 storey plus basement mews house in Belsize Park. Construction began in September 2013 with completion due September 2014.
The small plot of land was originally home to a stone masons yard and dilapidated mews house distinguised by it's large coach doors facing an off-street courtyard.
A lengthy and difficult planning process eventually concluded with approval to demolish the existing building for replacement in kind albeit with modern building fabric and a new moden extension.
The new extension forms the rear boundary to the private courtyard faced in decorative brickwork. Subservient to the main building and separated by a transparent link, the main building retains original features like the large coach doors.
