A development consisting of an existing Edwardian house on a large plot which was divided into three. The original house was retained and refurbished using traditional sympathetic materials and two new contemporary houses were constructed on the new plots, Magnolia House and The Glass House.
Magnolia House utilizes traditional materials in a contemporary way to sit comfortably with but distinguish it from the existing house.
The Glass House had to be set low on the site to avoid competing with the existing Edwardian residence. Large sliding glass walls which link interior space to the garden characterise this house.
