The development consists of refurbishing and extending a 1930s house which is part of a wider four house development. Set in a private road in Hampstead North London the enabling and site investigation works began in the autumn of 2008 with completion of the contract in 2011.
The house is set in mature park land gardens accessed by a private gated road. The site is located in the Redington / Frognal Conservation area on the west facing slope of a hill.
The original 1930s house was completely stripped to its external walls, then extended and refurbished. PKS as lead consultant oversaw the layout and co-ordination of the design, while the interior designer was directly appointed by the developer selected the materials.
The scheme retains many of the original building features but is executed with modern spaces and facilities.
