The Lockhouse was a new build urban solution on the Regents Canal and adjacent to Camden Lock generating 170 apartments of mixed tenure.
The scheme for Barratt West London, creates a cutting-edge development of modern apartments and office space between the bars and restaurants of Camden Lock and the upmarket residential area of Primrose Hill.
The development is situated on the site of a former warehouse next to the Regent Canal. It uses a palette of cast concrete panels, render and zinc cladding and is arranged around a courtyard garden at ground and first floor levels. The development utilizes solar thermal panels to provide hot water for the occupants.
